Chevrolet Leasing Deals

Chevrolet is a branch of the American company General Motors (GM), alongside other brands such as Buick, GMC, and Cadillac. Chevrolet was founded in 1911 under the name "Chevrolet Motor Company", and their first car was launched the same year named the “Chevrolet Series C Classic Six”, with a 4.9 litre engine and 40 horsepower. In 1914, Chevrolet first used the distinct bowtie emblem which we now see a modern variant of on all their models.

As they grew within the market, their share price rose which led in 1918 for Chevrolet Motor Company to be acquired by GM, and William C. Durant, who was one of Chevrolet’s co-founders, to become president of GM. However in early 1921, a management survey by General Motors suggested that the Chevrolet division should be shut down, but Alfred P. Sloan Jr. recommended to keep the division open under ex-ford employee William S. Knudsen. Chevrolet released many different models of cars, including the first Corvette in 1953 and the Camaro in 1966.

In 1919 Alfred P. Sloan and GM motors founded the General Motors Acceptance Corporation, a financing arm that revolutionised people being able to buy cars through financing options and making cars affordable. At Blue Chilli Car Leasing, we now offer competitive and affordable financing rates across the Chevrolet model range!
